JEWISH WALK OF SYDNEY
Sydney’s Jewish history can be traced back to the arrival of the First Fleet from Britain, which arrived here in 1788. Journey back through time by learning about some of the characters that make Jewish history here so rich. There have been a number of waves of migration since those early days, with many Jewish people arriving here in search of a safe haven, and to take advantage of the riches of this lucky country. Our walk takes us to some of Sydney's hidden secrets such as the site of the very first Synagogue in the colony as well as a look at the beautiful Great Synagogue home of Sydney Jewry since 1878.

THE ROCKS
& MORE
The walk takes us through the streets and laneways of the oldest part of colonial Australia. Learn about some of the fascinating characters that have lived in the area over the years, the crime gangs that frequented the area, and the buildings that give The Rocks its unique character. Visit one of the secret areas unknown even to most Sydneysiders. Stroll along Circular Quay and view one of the most iconic buildings in the world, The Sydney Opera House. We then stop off for the obligatory Sydney coffee and can pop into one of the oldest pubs in Sydney for a drink.
CITY HIGHLIGHTS WALK
Our walk starts at Hyde Park, the oldest public park in Australia. As we stroll through the greenery you’ll notice some beautiful memorials and the gorgeous Archibald Fountain. We continue down Macquarie Street with its famous buildings - Hyde Park Barracks, The Mint, The Rum Hospital and The State Library of NSW. Listen to stories that explore the multi-layered history of the city, and the characters that have made its history so rich. Finally, we arrive at The Sydney Opera House, one of the most recognisable and iconic buildings in the world with panoramic views of the harbour including The Harbour Bridge.
PADDINGTON DELIGHTS
We will walk through this delightful inner city suburb with its quaint Victorian architecture. This old working class area named after the suburb of the same name in London plays host to some of the most chic fashion boutiques, cafes, bars and galleries. Stop off at one of the locals' favourite cafes before walking along William Street and Oxford Street to check out some fancy boutiques, stop off at a local art gallery, buy some handmade chocolates and even grab a glass of Australian wine at the end of our tour.
SURRY HILLS HIGHLIGHTS
This walk is an ideal option for anyone who loves a good café, bar or art gallery. Surry Hills' streets are littered with myriad experiences made to wet the taste buds of any visitor. Learn about the history of the area, and check out the art deco architecture that is synonymous with Surry Hills. As an alternative we can visit a distillery and take a masterclass in Rum making. No tour here is complete without coffee at one of the iconic cafes or a visit to one of the prominent art galleries.
